Droid DNA
The Droid DNA is made by HTC and liked on Facebook by over one million people. Smartphone buyers are increasingly choosing models with ever increasing screen sizes and this model boasts a full five inch display. One of the major selling points is that the 5" screen offers full 1080p high definition resolution, common on most HD TV's, the manufacturer claims that this model is one of the first cell phones to include the technology. Equipped with a quad-core processor named Snapdragon, the DNA purportedly operates at blazingly fast speeds when utilizing core functionality and third party apps. The phone is currently offered exclusively through Verizon wireless.

The operating system is Android 4.1 known as Jellybean with HTC Sense and its powerful processor is made by Qualcomm, a quad core 1.5 GHz. Total memory is a impressive 16 gigabytes with 2 GB of dedicated RAM. It is compatible with CDMA, UMTS/HSPA, GSM/Edge and the latest LTE 700 MHz high speed wireless access from Verizon. The camera is an eight megapixel main camera with autofocus and LED flash sensors, aperture settings, a 28 mm lens and 1080 HD video recording. This smartphones keyboard is a virtual QWERTY which is displayed on the screen. The embedded battery is a 2020 mAh lithium ion powers the phone and all of the background functionality and cannot be removed.
Reviews have been very positive for this model with a majority of user concerns prior to their purchase having to do mainly with battery life as the data intensive processor and background use of multiple apps can easily drain a battery.
The first day I had it, I was FLOORED by how well the battery did. First it managed a two hour drive connected to my Extreme 2 and playing music without even breaking a sweat..
